We did a series of concert posters for Bill Graham Presents and the Reno Hilton back in 2002 (can’t believe it’s been that long) that really tested our design mettle. Sometimes we would get high quality images in a digital press kit. Of course that’s easy to work with. But sometimes we would literally get faxed a headshot of the artist. “Here – work with this”. Okay – we can do that. The Elvis Costello poster on the right is a perfect example of making something out of nothing. Challenges… We love ‘em!
